Salman Khan not ghost-directing Dabangg 2: Arbaaz Khan

By Hindustan Times

Actor-producer Arbaaz Khan will soon make his debut as a director with the discharge of his next production, Dabangg 2, on December 21. The promos of the Salman Khan-starrer was received well.

But a undeniable rumour concerning the actor having ghost-directed the film has irked Arbaaz. “It’s all rubbish,” says the first-time director. “Salman has to do his work — acting, fighting and dancing. Will he do this or will he direct? We make an excessive amount of out of the truth that he has suggestions. He has his tackle how he desires to do scenes, that is fair.”

According to Arbaaz, every actor gives suggestions when they’re shooting. And he feels there’s no harm in hearing what they need to say. “There’s no ego here. The film is being made because Salman is starring in it, so if he suggests something, I do consider it,” says Arbaaz.

Do such aspersions bother him? “No. They might matter if there has been any truth to them. Many directors face this situation,” says Arbaaz, adding that once Aditya Chopra directed Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (1995), rumours suggested that Yash Chopra ghost-directed it. When Karan Johar made his first film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), people insinuated that Adi had helped him and so on.

“Bhai hai toh kya hua (so what if he’s my brother)? At the sets of my film, Salman is a particularly successful actor and i'm a debutant director.”

REVEALED! Sunny Leone's look in Ragini MMS 2

By Hindustan Times

Sunny Leone has always capitalised on her assets, be it in her adult movies or to heat up the screen in her Bollywood film. While her sexy image worked for Jism 2, producer Ekta Kapoor, who has signed her on for her horror film, Ragini MMS 2, wants a more demure avatar. Ekta has roped in Priyanka Chopra’s stylist, Ami Patel, to present Sunny a fresh look within the film. “Ekta wanted me to style a film for some time now, but I NEEDED to work on western looks. So, when Ragini MMS 2 came up, she asked me again and I’d feel free to take it up,” says Ami.

Not willing to reveal Ekta’s exact brief for Sunny, Ami says, “Her look may be a surprise as it’s not how Sunny usually is. While in Jism 2 she was in-your-face sexy, this time her look may be toned down. It's going to have a large number of style with a classy, sexy touch and can be glamorous, somewhat like a Hollywood look.”

Though Ami hasn’t met Sunny yet, she has done a little research about her style quotient. “Sunny is a classy person and enjoys fashion. She has an inherent sex appeal and that i need to let that shine through in preference to making it overtly obvious with the garments. People haven’t seen her subtlety and that’s what I intend to bring out. I REALLY LIKE working with someone who's open to new ideas and knows current trends. I WANT to introduce the most recent fashion in movies,” she says.

By Hindustan Times

Life has come full circle for Sanjay Dutt, currently basking within the success of his film Son of Sardaar, which has hit the Rs. 100 crore mark. Greater than 30 years ago, the actor had made his debut with action films, and now action as a genre appears to be back again. “All those action films I did then
are the type of films happening now,” Sanjay tells us in an interview. “Thank God they’re back now.”

You said action films are your favourite. But does age affect the type of action you do?
Sanjay: Every actor has to transport on. Things get different with time and also you start getting characters that experience action that suits you. Age doesn’t make a large difference, though.

While we’re on that, how do you retain fit?
Sanjay: I figure out so much. I had placed on weight in between, but my fans told me they couldn’t see me like that. I needed to make a choice.

How do you have the ability to keep your audiences in awe of you?
Sanjay: The person I GLANCE as much as is Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan). His persona, aura, the films he does and transition, are all so fantastic. That’s the individual I’ve checked out and I’ve moved in step with him. Also, I THINK in commercial cinema. You are able to do offbeat movies sometimes, but you can’t move clear of the economic genre. There needs to be visibility. Even though you were given to Chennai, people should know who you are.

You’re doing Karan Johar’s Unglee and likewise Zilla Ghaziabad. Let us know something about them.
Sanjay: Unglee has an excellent script and the director, Rensil D’Silva, is fabulous. As for Zilla Ghaziabad, I’m playing a real-life character, a police officer who's called in to regulate the gangs in Ghaziabad. It’s an out-and-out action film with numerous mad, south-inspired action sequences.

What form of character is closest to you?
Sanjay: I LIKE action essentially the most. As of now, romance isn’t in my book. Or even a mature love story. Action and comedy are my genres now.

You’re still perceived as Munna Bhai. Is Munna Bhai 3 ever going to happen?
Sanjay: I AM HOPING it does happen. I NEED to inform Raju (Hirani) to delight start engaged on it now. Honestly, Raju’s ideas for the Munna Bhai series was fantastic. Just take a look at the message he has sen to everyone — a gangster reviving Gandhiji. Today’s kids don’t know Gandhiji. He got it back in an attractive way without boring the audience. He’s one of the crucial greatest directors the rustic has currently.

Five Favourites
Sanjay Dutt picks five of his all time favourite films and the jobs he’s enjoyed playing the most

1. Sadak (1991)
2. Naam (1986)
3. Khalnayak (1993)
4. Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. (2003)
5. Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006)

Sanjay’s new venture
Raj Kundra and Sanjay Dutt, co-founders of the Super Fight League (SFL) have tied up with Provogue for a brand new company called Pro SFL to jointly market all SFL merchandise.

things, this wasn’t a domestic quarrel turned nasty for the now-married Chulbul Pandey.

The song Dagabaaz Re has a chain where Sonakshi and Salman are enacting a scene on a stage. Sonakshi was required to wield a sword playfully for the shot. But it surely seems, she nearly hit the actor in this shoot.

Indefinite delay for Preity Zinta’s next!

By Hindustan Times

Preity Zinta’s Ishkq In Paris (IIP) appears to be jinxed. Initially, it was purported to release on September 21 alongside Heroine and English Vinglish. However, Madhur Bhandarkar’s film and IIP postponed their release date to October 5. While the Kareena Kapoor-starrer hit the theatres on that
date, Preity’s film was again pushed further.

Matters only worsened when the film’s director, Prem Soni, was diagnosed with cancer within the last week of October. A COUPLE OF days after that, Preity announced that the film would only release once the director is in a condition to finish the post-production work. As a result, IIP didn't release on November 2 either. “Prem’s diagnosis was an enormous blow, that's why PZ needed to announce an indefinite delay,” says a source.

The film’s troubles didn't end here. After months of attempting to find a distributor, Ponty Chadha bought the rights to IIP. Unfortunately, the veteran too lost his life in a violent shootout on November 17. “Sohail Khan is handling the distribution. He was only capable of rope Ponty in on a commission basis after having several discussions with him,” says an insider. “Ponty was going to distribute it in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Rajasthan, but now the makers must find another distributor. It has no takers in Mumbai too.”

Ishq In Paris have been jointly produced by Preity Zinta and Aakash Arora, an NRI who has invested within the project. The actor is yet to make an announcement at the release. As of now, her ‘comeback film’ have been indefinitely delayed.

Preity Unlucky
September 21: IIP was to release with Heroine and English Vinglish
October 5: Heroine released, IIP didn't
November 2: IIP did not release in this re-scheduled date either
Last week of October: Director Prem Soni diagnosed with cancer

We're on the brink of something path-breaking: Hrithik on Krrish 3

By Hindustan Times

For months now, Hrithik Roshan have been keeping a low profile, as he was targeting his next, Krrish 3. However the actor managed to take a little time out of his packed schedule to wait the continuing 12th edition of the International Film Festival of Marrakech in Morocco as four of his movies are being screened here this week.

However, Krrish isn't on that list. Confident that the franchise’s next installment will certainly find special mention on many such lists, he says, “Krrish must have been screened and it'll make it here next year.”

Nonetheless, the actor is thrilled that four of his other films — Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), Jodha Akbar (2008), Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011) and Agneepath — are being screened. “I just happened to be a part of these films and i'm very happy with them. It feels good,” he says.

Directed and produced by father Rakesh Roshan, Krrish 3 was kept under wraps ever because the shooting began. But as per the actor, the secrecy will all repay once the film hits the theatres. “It’s one of the most biggest challenges for Indian cinema, for the reason that special effects and the technology is all home-grown… it’s Indian. There is not any foreign hand within the final product,” he says.

The third a part of the series, which began with Koi… Mil Gaya in 2003, also stars Priyanka Chopra, Vivek Oberoi and Kangna Ranaut. But inspite of the support of a longtime star cast, Hrithik seems unsure in regards to the fate of the film. “It’s one of these big leap of religion. Till now it looks impossible. The tone of the special effects, and the film itself, is so big that we don’t know whether we can achieve what we're attempting or hoping to will we. may fall flat on our faces or we won't. Either way, I DO KNOW that we're on the brink of something path-breaking,” says Hrithik.
