Of late, actor Sonali Bendre was seen judging reality shows at the small screen. Now she is going to be seen for a couple of more minutes at the tube, way to her recent endorsement with a furniture brand. The actor is the brand new face for a company, which was earlier endorsed by actors Malaika Arora Khan and Diana Hayden.
And though Sonali have been in lots of ad campaigns before, she disagrees that commercials are how you can remain within the public’s memory. “I don’t think so. If I WANTED visibility, all I needed to do is pick up a project as I'VE offers in TV and movies. In fact, I BELIEVE ads come up with restricted exposure because they're aired at certain times and on certain channels, so there’s no ensure that you'll get noticed. Moreover, after the years of labor I’ve put in, I don’t think I WANT a brand for visibility’s sake.”
Excited concerning the new brand campaign, Sonali has experimented with various styles for the ad — from an effortless look to a one sporting haute couture or even a goth theme. She says, “I’m fascinated about my look. It’s classic, yet modern and timeless.”
Being a known face on TV now, and earlier at the big screen, Sonali claims she feels lucky to get offers to endorse products very often. But she also adds that, “I should be in a position to connect to the logo in someway otherwise there is not any point in
doing it.”
The furniture brand, Durian, can even feature Swarovski edition sofas. Ask her what her idea of ideal home decor is, she says, “I want my home to mirror us. We adore having beautiful things, like art around me. I ensure my home’s not only pretty, but comfortable too. This line is perfect for those seeking to add a cultured feel at home.”
