With passing years, Madhuri Dixit’s charms and dancing prowess appear to getting an increasing number of polished and mesmerizing. Because the diva gears up for the fifth season of ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’, she has shot a different promo for the show under the direction of ace choreographer Saroj Khan. Paying her tribute to yesteryear’s iconic Bollywood actresses, Madhuri dances to the tunes of a few of the hit numbers of Meena Kumari, Mumtaz and Sridevi.
She looks as convincing as ever as she moves with grace to the preferred thumri track ‘Thade Rahiyo’ from Pakeezah. Then she is seen in a figure-hugging, 70s-style, tight, peach-coloured churidaar salwar kameez as she dances to Mumtaz popular number ‘Motiyon Ki Ladee Hoon Main”. The only which really impressed us is her homage to Sridevi in a yellow saree within the evergreen song ‘Kaate Nahin Katatey’ from Mr. India.
