In India, most folks have caught a glimpse of late night telemarketing ads, featuring blonde girls spouting badly dubbed Hindi and selling ludicrous products with stupendous results. And Tusshar Kapoor isn't any exception. The actor says he’s watched many such commercials in bits and pieces, thanks
to his late night shooting schedules. But what’s interesting is that Tusshar has put his real-life experience to good use in reel life.
The story goes like this: At the sets of Kya Superkool Hai Hum (KSHH), he would always joke around along with his co-stars and director Sachin Yardi. During one among their interactions, Tusshar mentioned to Sachin in regards to the funny dubbed ads which can be always shown after prime time shows.
“Sachin loved the best way Tusshar had observed those ads. While Tusshar was mimicking them, Sachin had decided that he would use it in a single of Tusshar’s sequences, on account that he plays a struggling actor within the film. It will gel with the storyline too,” says an insider from the film unit.
When contacted, Tusshar confirms saying Sachin and he would fool across the sets, and because he has always loved mimicry, in the future the 2 were discussing how people attempt to exaggerate and sell things with foreigners having their voiceds dubbed in Hindi. “As we were joking, I happened to mimic a type of ads. Sachin was in splits and immediately decided to include it right into a scene,” says the actor, who can be seen making fun of men’s fairness cream. The film also stars Riteish Desmukh who plays a struggling DJ within the film. A sequel to the 2005 hit, Kya Superkool Hai Hum, produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures, is ready to release in August. Besides Tusshar and Riteish, the film also features Neha Sharma and Sarah Jane-Dias.
