Bollywood is eager about the tiger. At least, that’s what a slew of titles suggest. Within the latest twist, the tussle seems to have just got much more interesting.
Earlier there have been reports claiming that John Abraham was going to behave in Mike Pandey’s docu-drama titled Return Of The Tiger. And now, Salman Khan is at the verge of wrapping up Ek Tha Tiger and is pondering over brother Sohail Khan’s Sher Khan, which was placed on hold for the instant. And there’s more. Salman’s bête noir Vivek Oberoi’s next, co-starring Sanjay Dutt, has apparently been titled Sher.
“It’s a marvelous script. Working with Baba (Dutt) and Soham (Shah; director) has always been a pleasure,” confirms the actor, who prior to now has worked with Soham in Kaal (2005). The Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd. production could also be prone to feature Suniel Shetty and Prakash Raj. It's apparently in keeping with real-life gangster, Sarman Munja Jadeja and can have Sanjay playing the part. The Munja family had a robust hold over Porbandar and other places in Saurashtra within the early ’80s.
Among the feminine actors, Chitrangada Singh is reportedly in talks with the makers for the part.
“Soham is starting the film by mid-May. It is going to be shot in a start-to-finish schedule of about 45 days. Right now, he in conjunction with the actors, is busy with the pre-production,” says an insider from the unit. The film is perhaps shot across Rajasthan and Gujarat.
Dutt, on his part, is worked up concerning the project. “The makers have get a hold of an excellent story. I’m waiting for the film,” says Dutt, adding, “I hope people appreciate what I can we. are working really hard.”
