The five-time winner of comedy reality show Comedy Circus, slapstick comedian Kapil Sharma added another feather in his cap by being signed by actor-filmmaker Sohail Khan for his next directorial venture, Sher Khan.
The film stars Sohail’s brother, Salman Khan. Sohail, who was judging the fifth season of the truth show, named Comedy Circus Ka Naya Daur, at the side of Archana Puran Singh, had declared that he would give the winner the danger to work in Sher Khan. “When Sohail had announced, to start with of the show, that whoever won would discover a role in his movie, no person took it seriously. But he recognised my talent and kept his word,” says Kapil, who won the season partnering actor Sumona Chakravarti.
Kapil is unable to divulge any information about his character, but he gives us an inkling: “I have an excellent role within the movie.
I really can’t speak about the role but it surely may be really entertaining and entire of fun.”
