A few days ago, we wrote about Katrina Kaif's hunt for an apartment in Mumbai. We've now learnt the specifics of what the actor wants: a sea-facing house, preferably in Bandstand. Of course, ever since brokers within the city heard about this, Katrina's manager's phone hasn't stopped ringing.
It seems he have been getting calls from various brokers promising "exclusive deals" on houses at the Bandstand stretch between Shah Rukh Khan's bungalow, Mannat, and Salman Khan's apartment in Galaxy. Ask Kat if that's indeed the site she's keen on, and he or she says, "I'm certainly on the lookout for a sea-facing house and I'd like to own one in Bandstand. It is a great location. If, eventually, I DO NOT get an acceptable one there, I'm open to looking around Juhu in addition to... long I WILL BE ABLE TO get up to the ocean every morning."
Bandstand is already home to many Bollywood A-listers, including Rekha and Farhan Akhtar, besides SRK and Salman. Recently, actor Jackie Shroff also bought himself a complicated apartment here. Seems like Katrina Kaif may well be the newest celebrity with an address in this star-studded stretch.
