Amitabh Bachchan, who's recuperating at home after abdominal surgeries, is enjoying a "no time-table" life. Except for doing other things, he watched Oscar nominated The Artist and said it was a "delight" to view the silent black and white French movie.
"Being on my own and almost in solitary confinement, is getting contagious. I'M starting to just like this state. No where to go, nothing obligatory to perform, random timings and the freedom to do what I desire. I eat whenever, sleep whenever, watch a film whenever and happy doing so," Big B posted on his blog.
"The 'little one' comes as much as meet me by the evening, wide eyed and now at the verge of recognising things...On occasion she smiles and the quantity of love around increases a couple of decibels. Wonder whether she feels why we must change the tone of our sound during our conversations with her, and whether it really helps to glue more effectively. Always a mystery." he wrote.
He added: "I watched an exquisite film The Artist via the UFO arrange in the home and it was a delight to look a black and white, silent movie in February of 2012!! In an age when color and music and speech and sound play such the most important role in cinema today, it was most innovative at the a part of the makers to give something like this. I THINK it's up for the Oscars, which can be out tomorrow on Sunday."
The 69-year-old was operated upon February 11 for abdominal issues, and was under observation on the SevenHills Hospital for 12 days. He was discharged on February 23 night.
He says that he's feeling better. "I FEEL gradually the body gains strength. A COUPLE OF movements that were prohibitive earlier, appear to be easing in and that i do hope this trend continues. Your prayers and desires remain with me each moment and that i do know that it's their sincerity that drives me towards a handy guide a rough recovery. Thanks again for it!," he wrote.
