By Hindustan Times

Sanjay Gupta, known for his dark thrillers, is about to direct his next Shootout At Wadala from Thursday and this may be his first movie without Sanjay Dutt.

The filmmaker says they have got done their share of films and now it is time to move on. "IT IS NOT the actors that lessen or increase the impact of the film. So far as Sanju is concerned, we have now done our share of films and it's time to move on and i'm moving on," Gupta told reporters here Wednesday

The star cast of Shootout At Wadala was unveiled yesterday at Meheboob Studios. The director has roped in Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Kangna Ranaut, Sonu Sood, Tusshar Kapoor, Manoj Bajpai, Mahesh Manjerekar and Ronit Roy for the film.

Based on gangsters, the film could have abusive language, which would create not go down well with the censor board.

"I am prepared. It will be an extended battle and we're ready for that. The dialogues are written by Milap Zaveri. The intention is to get a reaction because it isn't the walk and talk film. The film relies on 1970s and the 1980s. The mood is somewhat harking back to the cinema that you simply experience," Gupta said.

Produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shootout At Wadala is a sequel to the Apoorva Lakhia directed 2007 movie Shootout At Lokhandwala.
