The trailer of Rowdy Rathore has not just got an U/A certificate however the censor board has also beeped some of the dialogues of its lead actor Akshay Kumar.
"There's a beep within the promo which was totally censor board's call. We're happy to make that cut. We have now decided to proceed with a beep within the film," Shikha Kapur, senior vice chairman (Marketing), UTV Motion Pictures, told IANS.
"I do not believe a U/A certificate will make any difference. It's an action film and it's absolutely justified," she added.
The actioner's trailer was released on Monday and the film's co-producer Shabina Khan said: "I'M REALLY NOT sure whether this cut may be within the film or not because it relies on what censor certificate we wish for the film."
Directed by Prabhu Deva, the film features Sonakshi Sinha because the female lead and is scheduled for a June 1 release.
