Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar is amused by the copyright infringement case filed against him for 2008 film Fashion. "Now someone has gone to court for the copyright infringement of my film Fashion after 4 years and significant Rs.2.5 crores...," Bhandarkar tweeted.
Actress-turned-author Seema Seth has filed a complaint against the filmmaker for allegedly stealing the idea that of the film from her book El Dorado.
However, this isn't the primary time that Bhandarkar has found himself in plagiarism trouble.
"In the past, my films Page 3, Traffic Signal and Jail claiming to be their concepts were dismissed by legal courts and writers association," he posted.
"I am sure they are going to be ready with their petition for my upcoming film #HEROINE also that is in making at this time for his or her 15secs of fame," he added.
Fashion, starring Priyanka Chopra, won both commercial and significant acclaim.
