New Delhi, April 12 -- There will be a desi touch to the U.S. premiere of The Avengers today. The video of the film's Hindi theme song, Hello Andhero, composed by Mumbai-based band Agnee, might be showcased on the premiere in La. "THIS MAY OCCASIONALLY be the primary Hindi song for any Hollywood movie so one can be showcased on the film's premiere within the US," says an insider from the production house. The video will supposedly be screened after the credits roll on the end of the film.
The soundtrack's lead singer Mohan says, "I DO KNOW that there has been some news from Burbank, where Disney is located, that something like that was happening, since they liked the song. If it's true, then that's outstanding." Disney representatives remained unavailable for comment.
The American superhero film, produced by Marvel Studios, directed by Joss Whedon and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, brings together various iconic characters equivalent to Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), Captain America (Chris Evans) Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson), The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth). The Avengers will hit theatres in India on April 27, every week before it is going to open within the US on May 4.
