Actor Salman Khan says that filmmakers cannot turn away from releasing their films in the course of the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket tournament, citing that certainly one of his hit films was released in the course of the Cricket World Cup.
“I don’t think there'll be any difference should you release your film during IPL. My film, Biwi Number one was released during World cup (1999),” he says. The fifth edition of IPL that kicked off on Wednesday can be on till May 27. With nine teams and 76 games, it promises to be a treat for cricket fans. So, which team he thinks will win the IPL, this year? “The best team should win. I'VE a whole lot of friends who own the teams. Whoever plays the most productive should win,” he replies.
