He has always tried to make his projects unique. So it’s hardly surprising that Aamir Khan goes all out to maintain everything associated with his maiden TV show, Satyamev Jayate, under wraps. As a result, no person knows the format or treatment of what’s believed to be a chat show with a twist. Now, whilst Aamir gets able to launch the title song today, suspense continues to enshroud the number.
Aamir Khan“Like the show, the song has also been completely kept under wraps and can be revealed only today. Besides Aamir, an overly small group knows what the song feels like. Almost everyone from the show’s core creative team may be being kept at the hours of darkness. But so far as we know, it’s being called a love song for the country, and was shot in every single place India, over a period of 3 months, while he was engaged on the episodes,” says an insider from the show’s unit.
For the uninitiated, Aamir has travelled extensively over several weeks to numerous places in Rajasthan, Kashmir, Kerala, Delhi, Punjab and a number of other North-Eastern states. “The title song’s video will show bits and pieces from the entire places he has visited. The theory is to provide a basic feel of what the show goes to be like. Aamir has personally worked hard at the entire song and its video,” says the insider.
While Aamir wasn’t available for a comment, his spokesperson confirms: “The song could be launched today. It will likely be called Satyamev Jayate. We can’t reveal anything on the moment.” Interestingly, the invite sent out to media, too, doesn’t reveal anything in regards to the song and the show. As reported earlier, Aamir and music director Ram Sampath of Delhi Belly (2011) fame have created roughly 16 songs to compliment all the episodes. Later, the actor will even launch a music album once the show involves an end.
