Mumbai, April 13 -- Housefull 2 has kicked off the brand new financial year with a bang. Or even because the Sajid Khan-sajid Nadiadwala project looks set to the touch the mystical R100 crore mark, a string of comedy films all sequels is within the pipeline, beginning with a sequel to Anees Bazmee's 2005 hit, No Entry.
"It will take me a month to finish the script of No Entry Mein Entry," says Bazmee, whose sequel will star Salman Khan excluding Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan in a pivotal role. After completing the No Entry sequel, the Welcome (2007) director will kick off the following a part of the hit franchise Hera Pheri, titled Hera Pheri 4. Interestingly, Akshay Kumar might now not be a part of it.
Bazmee adds that the Hindi remake of Hollywood blockbuster, The Hangover, could also be being worked out. "Yes, my team is already engaged on the script. I WILL BE ABLE TO check with (producer) Firoz Nadiadwala when we are through with Hera Pheri 4 on methods to go in regards to the Hangover remake. It's definitely on, but we're yet to work at the details including the star cast," he says.
Also at the cards is Golmaal 4. Director Rohit Shetty, who's busy wrapping up Bol Bachchan, says that initial work has already started at the fourth a part of his blockbuster franchise. "My writers are already at the job. Golmaal is a brand, so it's going to continue with parts 4, 5, 6 and so forth. I CAN start it only after wrapping up Chennai Express with Shah Rukh Khan," he says. Ajay Devgn and Tusshar Kapoor will remain a part of the Golmaal series.
Nadiadwala and Khan have decided to make Housefull into what they call "a summer franchise." Says Khan: "IT'S GOING TO always release during summer. I'M sure people would now need to watch Housefull 3 soon. I WILL BE ABLE TO almost certainly make it sometime next year. But whenever it's made, it's going to belong to four people (Sajid) Nadiadwala, Riteish (Deshmukh), Akshay (Kumar) and me. Housefull won't work with none of us."
