Rajat Kapoor is understood for his mastery in clean and rib tickling comedies. Now, he's ready with yet one more humorous project ‘Fatso’ coping with the tale of a skinny man whose soul gets inside a fatso’s body and the way he tries to woo a girlfriend who not recognizes him.
Purab Kohli plays Navin who dies in a car crash only to find that as a result of some clerical error in heaven, he have been mistakenly put to death in place of fatso Sudeep played by Ranvir Shorey. How Navin is distributed back to earth in Sideep’s body and the way he tries to win over his girlfriend Nandini (Gul Panag) who doesn't recognize him is a roller-coaster laugh ride.
Directed by Rajat Kapoor, the film’s story is written by Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla. Produced by Pritish Nandy Communications, Fatso is slated to release on May 4.
