Queen of soaps Ekta Kapoor’s serials are never lacking in drama. For her Colors’ show Parichay, starring Samir Soni and Keerti Nagpure, she has planned two terrific twists within the tale. After a leap of 5 months, Keerti’s character, Siddhi, will deliver twins in jail while veteran actor Aruna
Irani will make an entry within the show as a part of the supporting cast.
To cast the easiest identical twins, producer Ekta, at the side of the channel, has launched a hunt for 10-year-old siblings to play the role of Siddhi’s young sons. Ekta says,
“We are doing an all-India search, with our casting agents. And we're also reaching out to people through ads on Colors. We're searching for identical twins and it'd be fun if we get a couple of boys who're talented and need to act.”
Talking in regards to the need for a leap within the drama series, she says, “After a successful first stage of the show, we're putting in place all our efforts for the second one stage of Samir’s character Kunal and Siddhi’s story. Every relationship in real or reel life goes through many stages and so has Kunal and Siddhi’s relationship. It will likely be the act two for the show.”
Currently, in Parichay, Siddhi is serving a prison sentence for a false charge by Soni Singh’s character, Richa. For now, the show will take a leap of 5 months, followed later by an 8-year jump. Aruna Irani will enter the show next week, playing the role of Sulekha Dewan, who meets Siddhi within the jail. Sulekha is a rich woman, who may also help Siddhi restore order to her life or even raise considered one of her sons, because the other twin will finally end up with Kunal.
