Jism 2 has released and the audience verdict could be out soon. Though over the past six odd months there were talks of the film being most explicit and impressive so far as Indian mainstream cinema is concerned, the point of interest have been entirely on Sunny Leone and her escapades. While it is
obvious that one won't see even a fragment of a few real bold stuff that Sunny brings in her adult videos, in Bollywood parlance there may be still so much that may be presumably up for grabs.
"Well, I CANNOT really pin point on how huge are people's expectations from Jism 2. After all, the film was made keeping in mind the truth that that is India and at last we'd be catering to Indian audience. Howsoever we may want, a minimum of as of today we won't be as explicit as films made by our Hollywood counterparts", says Arunoday, "WE'VE a specific setting and we have to keep that during mind."
Arunoday SinghThis is the explanation why he wasn't overtly excited even if told that it'd be none lower than adult star Sunny Leone opposite him within the film. After all, he had a good suggestion that finally the film would include its own limitations.
"Exactly, I judge this stuff regionally and never globally. Some say that with Jism 2, we're making something overtly erotic and sexy. Fair enough but then I'VE seen much sexier stuff. As actors we will be able to bring that on in addition but then Censor Board may not agree. So eventually in India we need to show sexuality in a restrained manner", sighs Aronoday.
He goes directly to add though that Jism 2, despite the franchise power and the logo value that it carries, isn't entirely a movie about sex and has much more to offer.
"The film deals with adult issues but then it's not only about sex", he reasons, "AT THE other hand, it's not a normal movie either where you've songs, dances and fights. It's beyond that as what we're touching upon are intimate relationships and complications that come along. Take a look at it this way, we're not talking about college romance where youngsters get jealous, split after which come again singing songs. We're exploring an excessively intense and passionate setting which might result in life altering relationships."
Now since that's quite a press release to make, we wish to look the way it actually unravels on screen.
