The censor board had rejected the promo of Bittoo Boss, scheduled to release on April 13. The promo of the film shows everything during the lenses of a cameraman, played by Pulkit. It has guests at a marriage asking the video camera guy to shoot them in addition. Dialogues like meri bhi
lo (a shot, on this context) had irked the censor committee.
Though the norm is to fit a movie into categories like A, U/A or U rating, however the censor board has introduced Parental Guidance norm for this film.
"Initially I ASSUMED that since we don't have stars in our film, there may be discrepancy and biased attitude. I also felt it was unfair on their part to lift objection... to reject the promo for using this line -- meri bhi lo.
But then they have got their very own reasons and points, they must be careful, specially after the song D K Bose," Babul said.
"But when they saw our film they understood what we're looking to show. Few things they had suggested has been changed, but that we are going to not hamper or remove from the tale. In our film, there's no nudity, violence, etc," he said.
