Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan was detained at a brand new York airport for over two hours by immigration officials after coming back from India in an individual plane with Nita Ambani, to deal with students at Yale University.
While Nita, wife of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, and the remainder of their group were cleared immediately, Khan was stopped and was given immigration clearance only after about two hours.
Earlier, SRK was detained on the Newark Airport in New Jersey. Khan had said on the time he was detained for almost two hours on the Newark International Airport on account of his last name. While the problem became big after US apologised, Twitter is abuzz with jokes:

Custom officers in America are not any push overs and so they mean business. You enter America at their discretion. These guys won't permit you to go in in the event that they even slightly don't think in what you're saying, regardless of your so called name.

Its wrong whats happening to SRK or Ex-President Kalam, but some how I FEEL just a little is in charge the muslim community. There may be nothing like American arrogance in airports. People are equal there. They're doing their duty. They're well within their mandate to detain anyone for added questioning in the event that they determine they need to. It's their land and so they apply their law of their land. It's you - indians who're arrogant to expect to not be frisked or questioned because this jerk is a so called star. Who cares if he's a star?
India: He could be an excellent star in India...but for US he's just another muslim..and whole world knows how US treats muslims worldwide...nothing new on this news
Indian: Government of India must seek explanation from US Government in this Incident. It's not because SRK is a celebratory in India but it surely questions the very foundation of principle of fairness. If anyone is who's unarmed going to a school on a call for participation why she or he have to be detained for questioning... That is just absurd.
