However the actress came up with a slightly pleasant surprise as she made her first appearance at Cannes in a sublime Angelo Katsapis maxidress teamed with a skinny black long-sleeved cardigan together with her hair left down. Her second appearance on the festival was within the promised Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla sari. She was covered upto every inch as she attended the star-studded amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala in a cream chikankari sari and an elaborately embroidered jacket in preference to a choli.
