Sawari, is the one who Sachin sold to Surat-based industrialist and automobile enthusiast Jayesh Desai last year.
“Yes, it’s the similar Ferrari that belonged to Sachin once and was gifted to him by Michael Schumacher. I got to drive the similar car. It was there during a few of the shoot for the film,” says the film’s lead actor Sharman Joshi. Desai lent the auto to the film’s maker, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, for 3 months with none fee. “Vinod knew that I own Sachin’s car now and asked me to lend it for the shooting of the movie from January to March,” says Desai.
Sachin, whose role within the film is a cameo while the Ferrari is a part of most scenes, remained unavailable for touch upon the problem.
