Picture this: Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif braving the rain and the sun, clutching bottles of mineral water, hopping out and in of cabs, following a broker,desperate to search out an apartment. While the reality, we suspect, involves more well-off transport and some other folks to whom some of the duties was delegated, the leading ladies of Bollywood are indeed desperately house hunting.
While Bipasha is seeking a brand new apartment in Mumbai , Katrina is attempting to seek out a brand new house for her family in London. And so far, either one of them have had little luck. “I’ve been on the lookout for a spot for the last twelve months. And that i can assure you that there are hundreds of individuals in search of me, but with none luck,” says Bipasha, laughing. The actor recently transformed her 4BHK (four bedroom hall kitchen) apartment in Khar to a spacious 1BHK. So, why a larger place, we wonder. “I’ve worked very hard — almost each day — since I USED TO BE 16. Now I NEED certain comforts — a pool to soak in, and an open kitchen to entertain my friends with amazing meals. I THINK trapped in a closed kitchen, with my friends enjoying outside,” she says.
Similarly, Katrina, while shooting for Yash Chopra’s untitled next in London, went trying to find a spot for her five sisters and mother, who're settled within the British capital. “Since my mother is (in London), she was all for testing some houses. But I haven’t found anything yet,” says Katrina. Once she is free from her acting assignments, she intends to have a look at more places. “It’s going to take a little time. After I have more time, I WILL BE ABLE TO look at it.”
