His abdominal surgery came about in February. Since then, numerous reports about his frail physical condition have surfaced, making Amitabh Bachchan's health a talking point all across; such a lot in order that filmmakers, who've projects lined-up with him, also began worrying. Nonetheless, Big B, who's going to be back in action with Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) this September, tells us all in an exclusive interview.
There was a large number of speculation about your health. Some reports claim that you simply didn't soak up films that require extensive dates as a result of your condition. How are you now?
I am well. I had kept time free for my surgeries and shall start work at the films soon. First, can be KBC, of course.
Do you're feeling you have to decelerate a little now?
That is a relative term. What's slow to others won't apply to me, and vice versa. If I'M ABLE TO do what's asked of me, and that i feel I WILL do it (then) I shall do it.

Disagree! I work and play equally!
Your international debut might have been far bigger than The good Gatsby. Are you cheerful with it? Do you regret not making your Hollywood debut with other offers long ago?
Firstly, I DON'T consider myself Hollywood material. My participation within the Great Gatsby is a friendly gesture for (director) Baz Luhrmann - it's lower than a blink-and-miss appearance. I'VE done it (for) free, with none remuneration. I'VE no regrets about not working in Hollywood earlier. If there may be a chance within the future, and that i feel comfortable taking it up, then I shall consider it of course.

KBC, as a programme, with you as its host, still rules supreme on TV. What do you attribute the sport show's success to?
KBC runs in almost 80 other countries and was a hit. Its basic format and its intrinsic philosophy is the rationale it does well everywhere. I'VE BEEN related to it from the year 2000. We're now in 2012. Twelve years is a long time for its continued success. I WILL only pray that it remains so, sooner or later as well.
You're one of the crucial rarest actors of our time who multitasks even at this age and will easily beat youngsters at it's. it something that you have developed over a period or were you usually a motivated individual? Who had this indomitable spirit, your mom or your dad?
These assessments that you simply make of me are yours. I DON'T consider or endorse them. I do just what I BELIEVE like doing. There is not any try to deliberately wonder about age, work or multitasking. And yes, every child or person)( will bear the advantages of his or her genes. I WOULDN'T love to consider myself any different.
People search for to you as their hero, a logo of triumph against several odds. What are the few traits in life that you're feeling are important?
I am no hero and definitely not a logo of triumph against several odds. I'M definite about something only - that i'm not qualified with any traits that people could imbibe.
Many of your films was remade today. Several veterans usually feel classics should not be tampered with. What's your opinion?
I cannot say whether any of my films has been classics. (But) I do feel remakes, of earlier films that I'VE BEEN involved in, should not have my patronage - even supposing I conceded on one count to RGV and Sholay (Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag; 2007). There may well be other remakes within the pipeline, but I WOULDN'T be capable of remark about them.
What is that one classic Hollywood role that you simply always desired to do?
There are many, (it's) difficult to place my finger on it just yet.

From your tweets it's apparent that you are constantly learning new stuff to hook up with your fans. Please share a couple of things that you've got learnt and likewise unlearnt within the process.
Most of it's technical and something that even I CAN'T explain. Suffice (it) to mention that conversing with well-wishers on the net is a unique and exciting experience.
Does any iteration of yours hold the similar excitement as connecting together with your Twitter fans?
I am unable to grasp your question. But when it signifies that the joy of a brand new release and the thrill of connecting with Twitter is the same, then the answer's yes.
You've tweeted about being lazy, lackadaisical, lethargic, listless, lukewarm, laidback and lax. Do you really practise these downbeats?
Yes!
What's the status of Amit Roy's film with Abhishek Bachchan?
I think you have got the name wrong - it isn't Amit Roy, it's Amit Sharma that you just confer with I think, the person who has done the speculation ads, with Abhishek. Yes, we've got had several meetings and scripting is in progress. There may be an Amit Roy too, who was Ram Gopal Varma's DoP (Director of Photography) but who has (now) shifted from there and (is eager) to make and direct his own films. But I HAVE NEVER heard of any project from him yet.
