Arshad Warsi, whose performance because the raunchy rogue Razzak Hussain aka Babban in Ishqiya (2010) won him critical acclaim, has asked for a meatier role in Ishqiya sequel.
Arshad who's paired opposite Kangna Ranaut within the sequel titled Dedh Ishqiya, was not too pleased with his role within the sequel. He felt that it wasn't large enough and voiced his displeasure to director Abhishek Chaubey. Abhishek gave in to Arshad's demands and is currently reworking at the script.
Dedh Ishqiya also marks the comeback of Madhuri Dixit, five years after Aaja Nachle. Madhuri will play the role of Shahi Begum and is paired opposite Naseeruddin Shah within the film.
Produced by Vishal Bhardwaj, Dedh Ishqiya will go on floors in September this year.
