Actor Nargis Fakhri has rubbished reports that her Rockstar co-star Ranbir Kapoor gave her a royal ignore on the IIFA awards, that concluded recently in Singapore.
"Obviously, all of that is work of over- active rumour mongers. Ranbir and that i are friends, so the question of ignoring or being ignored doesn't arise. We spoke after we met on the IIFA post-party. We also met people from the industry..It was my first party and meeting with certain people from the industry," says the 32-year-old.
And what about reports that actor Shahid Kapoor, who she had accompanied to his birthday bash in Goa, avoided her too? "Shahid and that i met and chatted for a short time. There's really not much else to mention. Have no idea where these kinds of silly stories come from," she says, adding that she doesn't have any Bollywood friends: "I DO NOT really have friends within the industry. My agents and bosses at the moment are my good friends," she reveals.
Nargis doesn't say much about her ouster from actor Akshay Kumar's Khiladi 786, which was slated to be her second film. Ask her what went wrong and he or she says, "Nothing. Such things as that happen. And the bottom line is to maintain going."
