Since the time, Sajid Khan had announced his remake of ‘Himmatwala’, there were speculations as to who will be the leading lady doing the role played by Sridevi within the original flick. Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone or even Anushka Sharma were being regarded as the deserving contestants for the role.
However, it came as a surprise when Sajid announced the name of South beauty Tamannaah Bhatia as his leading lady. Tamannaah has already shown her oomph think about the rain dance in Rachcha and her sensuous moves in Siruthai. Except for the truth that she resembles Sridevi’s looks, the lady takes pride in her flat tummy, heavy bosom and broad hips- a really perfect figure for an Indian beauty. This Telugu and Tamil actress can be playing the lead opposite Ajay in ‘Himmatwala’.
Kumar Mangat, Ajay Devgan’s business associate has also confirmed the name of the girl by saying, “Yes, it’s Tamannaah opposite Ajay in Himmatwala. The shooting starts in August. Ajay has ‘Bol Bachchan’ on release and ‘Son Of Sardar’ is nearly complete. ‘Himmatwala’ is the one other project he'll start this year.”
