She received positive reviews for her performance in Gangs of Wasseypur. And now, it sort of feels Richa Chadda has already been cast in Kaacha Love Pakke Dost, which marks the directorial debut of casting director Mukesh Chhabra. It's prone to go at the floors towards the top of this
year.
“Mukesh has already discussed the script with Richa, who will star in it. In essence, the tale is ready three friends — two boys and a lady — and their experience in Mumbai as they fight to become Bollywood actors,” says an insider with regards to Mukesh.
The debutant director has, till date, cast for films like Rockstar (2011), Kaminey (2009), Gangs of Wasseypur and forthcoming big budget flicks just like the Ranbir Kapoor-Anushka Sharma starrer Bombay Velvet and Rajkumar Hirani’s P.K.
Besides Richa, Mukesh’s film will even star Raj Kumar Yadav (he acted in Ragini MMS) and Aakash Dahiya, who got rave reviews for enjoying Googly within the National Award-winning Chillar Party (2011).
While Mukesh is thought to have wrapped up work at the script, he's yet to finalise other details since he's busy with the casting process for the Aamir Khan-starrer P.K.
“Since it's an elaborate project, Mukesh doesn’t have much free time. But his film will start towards the tip of the year. It is going to be a slice-of-life movie where one can find glimpses from his real life too,” adds the insider.
When contacted, Mukesh reacted with surprise: “It’s too early to speak about my film. I WILL BE ABLE TO speak intimately when the time is right.”
