Teen actor Darsheel Safary is worked up about Canada-based Indian filmmaker Deepa Mehta’s movie, Midnight’s Children. The young actor says its the primary time he's “doing a movie of this kind”.
A big screen adaptation of author Salman Rushdie’s bestseller of the similar name, the forged of Midnight’s Children boasts of names akin to Anupam Kher, Shabana Azmi, Seema Biswas, Shahana Goswami, Rahul Bose and Soha Ali Khan. “I have shot for Midnight’s Children. It may release by the top of this year. I'M very, very enthusiastic about my character because that is the primary time I'M doing a movie of this kind,” says the 16-year-old.
Darsheel, who debuted with Aamir Khan’s Taare Zameen Par (2007), is true now specializing in his studies.
Talking about balancing his academics and work schedule, Darsheel says, “I’m busy with my studies at the moment. But whenever something intresting comes up, my parents decide.” Darsheel was last seen in a dance reality show.
