Talks has been on for a very long time on whether Ranbir Kapoor could be a part of filmmaker Anurag Basu’s ambitious project at the lifetime of Kishore Kumar. And now we’re told that the actor have been signed on for the project with the intention to showcase the life and times of the legendary singer-actor. The film, produced by UTV Motion Pictures, will go at the floors late next year or in 2014.
Tentatively titled Kishore, it's currently in its scripting stage. An industry source says, “The film’s script is being written. Anurag wants this project to be as with regards to reality as possible. Kishore Kumar was a legend, so there are numerous details that must be considered when writing the script.”
Ranbir KapoorThe source further adds that during all likelihood, Ranbir could be paired with four heroines, a primary for the actor. Within the past, he have been paired with three and two heroines in Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008) and Barfi! respectively. The source adds, “The heroines may be selected dependent on which portions of the singer-actor’s life Anurag chooses to hide. If the film is made in regards to the singer’s entire life, then there'll be four stories as Kishore Kumar had four wives. It’s these factors which are taking on a large number of time. The director can’t afford to overlook out on any of those details.”

Kishore Kumar married Bengali singer Ruma Ghosh and had his first child, Amit Kumar along with her. However, the couple divorced after eight years.
KMadhubala
1960- 1969
His co-star in different films, Kumar fell in love with Madhubala while he was still married to Ruma. After his divorce, he married the actor and the marriage lasted till Madhubala’s death.
Yogeeta Bali
1976- 1978
After staying single for several years, Kumar found solace in actor Yogeeta Bali. However, the wedding didn’t last and so they got a divorce within two years.
Leena Chandavarkar
1980- 1987
After three marriages (with two failures), Kumar finally found love with actor Leena Chandavarkar. They remained married till his death and feature a son, Sumit Kumar.
