Anubhav Sinha’s forthcoming ‘Gulab Gang’ is way into news because it marks the comeback of Madhuri Dixit within the film industry. The film is encouraged by Sampat Pal-led Gulabi Gang in Bundelkhand, Uttar Pradesh, which fights for the rights of ladies within the region. Directed by Soumik Sen, the shooting of the film will start in December and the primary schedule can be shot in Bombay.
Next to Madhuri, the opposite one time top actress to be roped in by Anubhav is Juhi Chawla and he says that it might be great to look them together for the primary time on big screen. “Actually, there have been two reasons to cast Juhi Chawla for the film. The first thing is that it was an inventive decision taken by all of us… and we thought it might be great to peer two iconic stars – Madhuri and Juhi – together within the film,” says Sinha.
“I couldn’t have pulled off a greater cast than the 2 most iconic female stars, Madhuri and Juhi, together for the primary time on Indian screen,” he said adding, “We were engaged on the appearance of the actresses, now we're able to roll. Because the film relies in rural India, either one of them can be seen in a de-glam avatar and can have a country look.”
‘Gulab Gang’ also stars Mahie Gill and Shilpa Shukla.
