Actor Gulshan Grover feels that his co-star Kareena Kapoor has given her best shot for the mujra song, Dil Mera Muft Ka from the approaching film, Agent Vinod. Grover, 51, who was last seen within the critically acclaimed film, I'M Kalam (2011), says: “Bebo’s song is an out-and-out entertainer and she
has done it very well. I LIKE it.”
When asked to rate her performance on a scale of 1 to 10, he said, “I will give Kareena an eight on 10.” Comparisons with veteran actor and Bollywood’s mujra queen, Rekha are inevitable. “Everyone looks as much as Rekhaji and her mujras from Umrao Jaan. So did we,” confesses the film’s director, Sriram Raghavan.
However, Grover finds the comparison unfair. “Rekha’s song was at a unique time, of a distinct kind and was done in a distinct style. Her song had more to do with grace and adaa, while Bebo’s song is fun.”
