The buzz has it that Kareena Kapoor can be replacing Malaika Arora Khan akka ‘Munni’ in Dabangg 2.
Bebo might be seen doing an item number within the sequel to 2010 smash hit Dabangg.
The item number could be composed by either Sajid-Wajid or Lalit Pandit.
According to industry insiders, the pairing of Kareena and Salman Khan in Bodyguard was much liked and resulted in her being chosen for the article number.
This time around, the role of Malaika would apparently be restricted to being the producer only.
Kareena can be seen gyrating to item numbers in filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar’s most talked-about film Heroine, where she also plays the title role. "Kareena could be doing two item numbers. Certainly one of them is known as Halkat Jawani," Madhur Bhandarkar had shared.
Bebo has also done a mujra number for her beau actor-producer Saif Ali Khan’s forthcoming spy-thriller Agent Vinod.
