By Hindustan Times

Mumbai, Feb. 29 -- Shekhar Suman's popular '90s TV show Movers & Shakers (M&S) returns with season 2 after almost a decade. Starting March 12, it's being planned as a mixture of existing formats just like the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and hit US sketch show, Saturday Night Live.

Shekhar says, "AT THE show, I voice the typical man's opinion and views. We can discuss politics, the economy and entertainment, making it topical." The former season of the show, which led to 2001, ran for 3 years on Sony TV and featured over 1,500 celebs from all walks of life. It is going to now be aired on SAB TV.

"It appears like a second honeymoon, like coming home and revisiting a chum. We now have made some changes within the format with more celebs, or even clips from old episodes of M&S to look how the stars and i've changed over the past 10 years," adds Shekhar.

The show can even have segments like film analysis, Shekhar's gags, a stand-up comedy act, along side a 10minute chat with the famous guests. "IT WILL LIKELY BE a compact show, and i'm keen to have new celebrities, in addition to those I had within the earlier season. We plan to get Anna Hazare for the primary episode. He represents the typical man and is a righteous person. Firebrand politician Raj Thackeray is someone else on our list," reveals Shekhar, adding they'll need 22 celebrities every month.
