3 Idiots gang reunite for Raju’s next flick!

By Hindustan Times

After the unprecedented success of Raju Hirani’s 3 Idiots, the writer-director is, once again, started working with the trio — Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi and R Madhavan — in his forthcoming film. Writer Abhijat Joshi, who had co-written the 2009 comedy, reveals, “I was writing Peekay with Raju. Aamir is acting in it. We’ve completed the script and can sit for narrations soon.”

Aamir, who will start work on Yash Raj Films’ Dhoom 3 in May, admits that they are going to begin shooting Peekay this year. He says, “The film is occurring the floors in October.” Strangely, while his colleagues at the project seem able to start filming, the director himself insists there may be still some work to be done. Raju says, “The script isn't complete yet. We're engaged on the overall draft.”

Press him to show details or the genre of his eagerly anticipated films, and Raju says cryptically, “This is my more or less film. Of course, it has some social message.”

Abhijat also assisted the director when he was scripting producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s next, Ferrari Ki Sawaari, to be helmed by Rajesh Mapuskar. “I didn’t write Ferrari Ki Sawaari, but I USED TO BE helping Raju with it.”
