She has just turned producer along with her upcoming film, Ishkq In Paris. Or even as Preity Zinta keeps herself busy with acting and running an IPL cricket team (Kings XI Punjab), it kind of feels she has added another feather to her cap. The actor has apparently tried her hand at co-writing the Prem
Soni-directed film, which he had originally scripted himself.
“Preity have been instrumental in completing the film’s story. So whether it was discussing dialogues or fleshing out scenes, she made every effort to bolster the script,” says Prem, who’s just returned from wrapping up the primary schedule in Paris.
Ask the director if the film is a duplicate — as reported — of Family Man (2000) and Before Sunset (2004), and he says, “That’s complete untrue. Also, I NEED to explain that it’s not an Indo-French collaboration. It’s a normal Bollywood film. The truth that it’s being shot in France and lines a couple of French actors doesn’t make it a foreign film.”
