Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is understood to be aware of the minutest details on the subject of carving the feel and appear of the characters in his film. Who can forget the immaticulate details with which he portrayed the easiest Gujarati settings in his super hit ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’. Aishwarya Rai was an ideal ten on ten as a Gujarati girl within the film along with her looks, clothes and never to forget her perfect ‘Garba’ moves in ‘Dholi Taro’.
The director is currently busy along with his next project ‘Ram Leela’ for which he's going to again use a Gujarati setting. The film is a contemporary Romeo Juliet with Ranveer Kapoor within the male lead. For the feminine lead, Deepika Padukone was roped in preference to Kareena Kapoor.
It is understood that Sanjay has asked Deepika to take tips from Ash’s dance moves in ‘Dholi Taro’. As such, Deepika will learn Garba for the film. Deepika is gearing as much as play the role of a great rural Gujarati girl within the film.
Sanjay even shopped with the designer Anju Modi for the garments for Deepika’s character and her costumes were sourced from remote areas like Bhoj, Mundra and Mandvi within the Gujarat’s Kutch district. Ranveer Singh has placed on a six-pack search for the film.
