Prabhudheva finds his voice!

By Hindustan Times

With films like Wanted (2009) and Rowdy Rathore, Prabhudheva has created a distinct segment for himself within the Hindi film industry. And now, with Remo D’Souza’s next directorial venture, ABCD — Any Body Can Dance, the actor, who plays the central character within the film, will speak his own dialogues for the primary time in a Bollywood film.

A source with reference to the film reveals, that it came as a shock to everybody when Prabhu decided to mention all of the dialogues himself. He says, “Prabhu knows Hindi, but isn’t really well versed with it. Also, he has a powerful south Indian accent. He was hesitant about doing this within the past, as a result of same reason. But this time, he went ahead without inhibitions.”

When contacted, Rucha Pathak, senior creative director (studios), Disney UTV confirmed the scoop saying, “Yes, there is not any dubbing for Prabhu on this film. He plays the nature of a dance teacher from Chennai who battles all odds and dazzles the arena together with his vision, dance and philosophy. So his voice only adds to the USP of the film.”
