Pre-bookings for Talaash open before time

The buzz around Aamir Khan's Talaash, releasing Friday, is so strong that certain theatres opened their ticket counters on Nov 25 itself and they're ovewhelmed by the response.

Talaash is against the law thriller and it's Aamir's first release after 3 Idiots. The movie, directed by Reema Kagti, also features Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji and is popping out Friday.

Usually, for a Friday release advance bookings open on Monday, while multiplexes open booking counters on Wednesday.

"Owing to strong buzz and humungous inquiries from patrons, we opened the improvement booking for Talaash on Sunday pan India in any respect our Cinemax multiplexes," said Girish Wankhede, national marketing head, Cinemax India Ltd., in a statement.

Talaash"The response was quite amazing as we were capable of book around 700 tickets at the first actual day. Lot of corporate bookings and bulk bookings also are happening. We're very upbeat and foresee another big blockbuster," he added.

Shashank Raizada, managing director of capital-based Delite Cinema, said: "We needed to open the improvement booking of 'Talaash' at some point earlier, on Sunday, as people were coming and inquiring for tickets. Actually in reality, we started getting many block bookings almost 15 days ago. Our conventional booking has also been very good."

Aamir, known for his innovative and extensive promotions, chose a singular way to spread a word about Talaash.

For the promotions, this time he has used small screen by making appearances on shows like C.I.D. and shooting a distinct show for Star Plus.
