Farah is a born actor: Bela Sehgal

By Hindustan Times

Ace choreographer and Om Shanti Om director Farah Khan has impressed her director together with her acting prowess as a Parsi woman in Bela Sehgal's Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi.

"I think Farah really suited the nature. She played it so well that I DON'T BELIEVE anyone else will have done it. I NEED TO say she is a born actor," Bela told reporters here, on the first look of the film Shirin Farhad ...... last night.

The movie is a romantic-comedy starring Farah and Boman Irani within the lead. "IT ISN'T an actual life story. I had considered this movie eight years ago and that i wanted Boman and Farah only. And now, after eight years we made this film," Bela, sister of noted Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, said.

"The character of Farah needed weight. We didn't require size zero more or less a heroine. It was a delight working with Farah," she said. The movie revolves around Boman Irani (Farhad) who's single and is teased about his bachelor status. He works as a salesperson at a lingerie shop and bumps into Farah (Shirin), and that is the reason how the tale progresses. The film revolves across the idea of affection" doesn't have an expiry date". The film is being produced by Eros International and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
