Nargis Fakhri out of Akshay Kumar's film

By Hindustan Times

Looks like Nargis Fakhri has run out of luck. After starring opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Rockstar, Nargis had bagged her second film Khiladi 786 opposite Khiladi Kumar. But now the hottie is out of the film. Wonder why?

Apparently, Mithun Chakraborthy should be blamed for Nargis' ouster.

A source told Mumbai Mirror, "Nargis was signed by Himesh Reshammiya and Akshay Kumar to play Amitabh's sister within the film. However after Bachchan pulled out, Akshay roped in Mithun to essay the role of gangster Tatya Tukaram Tendulkar. That modified numerous things."

Nargis who was thinking about the role needed to opt out of the film. There aren't any ill feelings though.

"They have decided to maintain their options open for a future project that can bring them together. Right now, the search is on for a brand new leading lady," the source added.

In the film Paresh Rawal and Himesh Reshammiya play Gujarati characters of Champak Lal and Mansukh and Akshay Kumar plays a Punjabi guy.

The film goes at the floors in June and is directed by debutante Ashish R. Mohan.
