After their chemistry clicked in Love Aaj Kal and Aarakshan, actors Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone were signed together for the third time in Cocktail, because the makers felt that their pairing was “safe”.
“Deepika has developed as an actor and Saif is fantastic on this genre. People like to see him this way,” says Cocktail co-producer Dinesh Vijan.
Talking in regards to the first look of the film, which has created numerous buzz at the Internet, Vijian adds, “The response have been great. We considered releasing it on the web for the reason that reach is wider, and it then goes viral.”
