We aren’t sure how Kareena Kapoor will take this piece of reports. But her beau, Saif Ali Khan, seems to have had a picture makeover. The actor, not likely known to be a celebration animal, has managed to partake in the entire revelry while shooting for his latest film, Cocktail. And this variation of avatar
came way to his leading ladies and co-stars Deepika Padukone and newbie Diana Penty.
Apparently, at the sets of Homi Adajania’s film in Cape Town and London, Saif would often wish to take it easy after wrapping up the day’s schedule. However, Deepika and Diana were always up for an evening out.
“Since Dippy and Diana bonded so much at the sets, they might decide which club to go to that day. The instant pack-up was announced, they were charged as much as start partying. Saif, who's the producer of the film, can be tired and sleepy. Though he desired to chill in his room, the women just didn’t let it happen,” says an insider from the sets.
While Saif tried to wriggle out, Deepika and Diana worked on his conscience, telling him they needed him with them for his or her safety. That meant the Agent Vinod star needed to accompany them.
“However, towards the tip of the schedule, Deepika and Diana were roughly done with the partying scene. But by then, Saif had gotten used to the parties and the fun, and he would then be more enthusiastic and ensure they partied till the wee hours after wrapping the day’s shoot,” says the insider.
When contacted, co-producer Dinesh Vijan says: “Saif is the wittiest person I DO KNOW. He's very entertaining on set. In Cocktail too, he plays a mast-maula (fun-loving) character. And he’s always there to savor his co-stars and friends.”
Interestingly, within the film too, the trio (Deepika, Saif and Diana) play close friends. And apparently, director Homi was more than pleased with their bonding sessions for the reason that they led to very strong chemistry on screen too.
