Bollywood turned up in full strength at actor Esha Deol and businessman Bharat Takhtani’s sangeet at a Mumbai hotel on Monday. However, among the guests were seen discussing the absence of Esha’s father, actor Dharmendra from the party. Photographers on the venue were told that the actor was inside and would soon step out for pictures, but while Esha’s mother Hema Malini, sister Ahana and other guests posed for photos, Dharmendra didn't pop out at all, sparking speculation that he had given the development a miss.
“I was there for a brief while, but I DIDN'T see Dharmendra,” says designer Shaina NC, a guest on the ceremony.
Actor Arjan Bajwa, who was there till late says, “I didn't see Dharmendra anywhere. I met Hema ji and she or he looked very happy.”
However, a source, requesting anonymity said, “Dharam ji did come, but for only a short while. He left as he was feeling unwell.”
