Heroine to release on Kareena's birthday!

By Hindustan Times

It’s an advance birthday present for Kareena Kapoor. The discharge of her next big film, Heroine, was pushed by a week, and can now hit screens on her birthday, September 21.

While it'd be seen as a sweet gesture, it'll now arrange a three-way clash with two other women-centric films – Sridevi’s comeback film, English Vinglish, and Ishkq in Paris, that's being produced by Preity Zinta (she also stars within the leading role).

An insider from Heroine’s unit says, “The clash wasn’t planned in any respect. When it came to our notice that Bebo’s birthday was every week clear of the unique release date, we took a unanimous decision.” Director Madhur Bhandarkar says, “We decided to make things special for her (Kareena) with somewhat a reshuffle.” Heroine —after Khushi (2003) and Chameli (2004) — will see Bebo in a title role once again.

Kareena says, “I would call it (Heroine) my best work till date. After Jab We Met (2007), I BELIEVE I'VE really put my sweat and blood into this film. So what better birthday gift than it popping out at the same day?” Ask her in regards to the impending clash, and she or he adds, “I don’t take into accounts such things. Many films release on a Friday. On the end of the day, you can’t really control it.”

Ask Madhur if the deferred date might need anything to do along with his shoot schedule running a little bit late and he says, “If that was the case, what difference would every week make? Heroine is on target. There’s no problem at all.” On the moment, Kareena is busy shooting for the song ‘Halkat jawani’ with choreographer Ganesh Acharya for the film.

Ás for the opposite two movies in an effort to now be forced to compete with Heroine, English Vinglish is a comedy a couple of housewife who enrolls herself in an English-speaking course, while Ishkq In Paris is a romantic film set within the French capital.
