Indian adaptation of 24 keeping me busy: Anil Kapoor

As his US TV show 24 is getting an Indian adaptation, actor Anil Kapoor says he's busy with the team in putting together infrastructure and logistics for the show.

Anil, who made a cameo appearance within the original series because the head of a fictitious Islamic nation, said he's involved in
every little bit of the show's production. "I'M totally involved with the team that is putting together 24. Right from it's planning to its pre-production, I'VE totally immersed myself into it. In spite of everything I'M a producer's son; being involved comes naturally to me."

"Even in my earlier years once I was acting for my home productions like Mr India, Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai, Loafer or Judaai, I USED TO BE always within the know-how of what was happening at the ground. I HAVE NEVER let burst off that trait," Anil told PTI.

The 52-year-old will next be seen in Ekta Kapoor's production Shootout At Wadala, directed by Sanjay Gupta. The film also stars John Abraham, Kangna Ranaut, Tusshar Kapoor and Sonu Sood.

Anil is all praises for the brand new breed of filmmakers saying that they understand the taste of the audience and deliver top quality cinema. "Ekta, Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra are the type of individuals who make our industry. Ekta is so hungry for good work; she could be very hardworking and passionate. You want such people because they understand the industry is functioning so well. They understand how to deliver prime quality cinema. Because of this when a possibility like Shootout at Wadala came my way, I went right into it. I USED TO BE sure that this may be a proper combination," said Anil, who has begun shooting for the film.
