A lot was said about their infamous fallout, but actor Priyanka Chopra’s recent appearance at filmmaker Karan Johar’s 40th birthday bash has put the rumour mill to rest. KJo has extended the olive branch to Piggy Chops, and he reveals he has let go of the “unfortunate” incident.
“There’s nothing to mention (about Priyanka). It’s all good within the hood. What happened was prior to now and we're perfectly great with one another now.
We have mutual admiration for every other, both personally and professionally, and it’s all good,” says Johar, who had lashed out at Chopra in keeping with a piece of writing published in a Mumbai tabloid that had the actor’s friends defending her position in her alleged affair with actor Shah Rukh Khan.
Moving on, the filmmaker is now focussed on his stint as a judge at the fifth season of dance reality TV show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, along side veteran actor and Bollywood beauty Madhuri Dixit, and choreographer Remo D’Souza. Ask if the audiences can even get to look him shaking a leg, and he says, “I hope to wreck a leg than shake a leg, in order that I don’t must do it.”
But not regardless of dance diva Madhuri? “Who can afford to shake a leg with Madhuri? Nobody should even dare to shake a leg with Madhuri within the same frame..So no, it won’t happen,” says the 40-year-old, who, at the film front, is focusing more on production than direction. “I’m more enthusiastic about filmmaking than directing,” he concludes.
