Actor Kangana Ranaut, who hasn't ever concealed the truth that she’d love to direct movies some day and has often spoken about writing scripts, appears to be taking her first real steps in that direction.
On Monday, a person representing Kangana was on the Film Writers Association (FWA) in Andheri to submit her membership form, says a source who was on the FWA office on the time. The actor’s representative was also carrying a script for registration, adds the source.
Membership of the FWA is mandatory before a script will also be registered.
Kangana’s application, however, couldn't be processed that day because of an error in her form. “The authorities didn't accept it since the picture (ideally stamp or passport size) was too big,” says our source.
FWA officials refused to touch upon the matter, merely stating that they “get many applications.”
Kangana herself responded to our calls and messages with a terse “No comment.”
