Kareena Kapoor may be seen in item song Halkat Jawani in Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine. The filmmaker tweeted a behind-the-scene pic from the sets saying: "My #Heroine #Kareena gearing up for #HalkatJawani."
Kareena looks glamourous as she applies make-up with a broom. However, the pic looks posey as her make-up is already done.
She is clad in a grey top, which does not appear to be the costume for the song.
On May 26, Bhandarkar had tweeted: "Yesterday marks the tip of the 3rd schedule of #Heroine. Way to the labor of the forged & crew, the movie is 80% over." He added: "Finished recording a kick ass track Halkat Jawani sung by @sunidhichauhan5, music by 1 & only @salim merchant & @sulaiman m."

Heroine is directed, co-written and co-produced by Madhur Bhandarkar. Kareena Kapoor plays Mahi Arora, once a successful film actor. Arjun Rampal, Randeep Hooda and Rakesh Bapat will even feature within the film. Additionally, the project also stars Shahana Goswami, Divya Dutta, Helen, Shillpi Sharma and Lillete Dubey in supporting roles.
Heroine is scheduled for September 14, 2012 release.
