Actress Rani Mukerji-starrer Aiyya was earlier scheduled for a Sep 28 release, nevertheless it was postponed and now it's going to hit screens during Dussehra. Co-produced by Anurag Kashyap and Viacom 18, Aiyya have been directed by Sachin Kundalkar. "Yes, we were alleged to release our film on Sep 28, but now the film was pushed back. There's no specific reason as such. This can be a collective decision taken by Anurag Kashyap and Viacom 18," Kundalkar told IANS.
"Now we're on the lookout for Dussehra release. Will probably be releasing within the last week of October," he added.
Aiyya is alleged to be a couple of woman who finds a person desirable because he smells good and Rani, last seen in Nobody Killed Jessica, has teamed up with southern actor Prithvi Raj for the movie.
"I am not likely done with the film. The editing is happening full swing. And Amit Trivedi is composing the music presently," said Kundalkar.
